Wow, I am digging the decor of Chocolat in the Gaslamp. So trendy, so hip, so chic. The spotted ottoman seats are a great touch to the immaculate white walls and are a fitting resemblance to the adornment of whimsical cows that badly need to be milked.

The display is incredibly and deliciously appetizing.

I got a single scoop of spicy chocolate gelato in a cup. Though very tasty, it's not as creamy or silky as I'd like, nor does it have much depth of flavor as gelato I've had from Little Italy. What I liked was the spicy kick at the end of each savory spoonful, leaving tears in my eyes from the heat of the pepper.

If you're looking to lounge with a sophisticated group in a chic setting morning, noon, or night, Chocolat cremerie is the place. Just follow the trail of ballooned cows.
